Zoomer Magazine

After working on CARP and 50 Plus Magazine for several years from 1998 until 2007 Moses Znaimer acquired and merged with Kemur Publishing and launched a new magazine called Zoomer in 2008. I worked on the prototype, first issue and almost every issue since,

For the first several years working at Andora Graphics, I performed all the prepress, image prep, colour correction, proofing and final PDF x1a release to the printer for the entire issue. After the recession, that same year and in an effort to reduce costs a couple years later, Zoomer would only ask me to work on the cover, story and feature images as needed for each issue going forward. After I started Pixel Ink Retouching in 2012 and made sure I provided SWOP certified colour proofing, they remained a consistant and amazing client ever since.

This was a fun request. Create a Canadian Mount Rushmore of the political candidates leading into the 2019 federal election, and as quick as possible to meet the press deadline later the same week.
